The Svjet newspaper announces it: has received a communication from a' Japinese newspaperstatingtbat Britain and Japan have presented an official note to tbe Chinese Government declaring that China must demand the immediate evacuation of Manchuria by Kussia; also that any Russo-Ohinese treaty with regard to the civil administration of Manchuria must be subject to tbe approval of Britain and Japan, and that they must previously be advised of such a treaty. A reply was demanded within five days.
