The four deputies {appointed by the New Z aland ttugby Union to mlest 22 players to represent the colony in ft tour of New South Wales and Queensiand have chosen tha following : BACKS. B. McGregor, A>hir, and Kieman (Auckland); Wallaoe (Wellington); D. MoGregor, Wojd, and Harvey (Canterbury); Ssalker and Duosan (Otago); Stead (Sou hland). IVEIVIRDS. Tyler, D. Gull igher, Nicholson, and Long (Auckland); Armstiong, Udy, and M ;Minn (Wairarap >); J. Sponojr Welliujjt.it.); Oook and Fanning (Uanterbuiy); Porteom aud Given (o<ngo), Mr G. Symp, the Taranaki rep, selector, recommended A. Humphries and Gl sjow for inclusion in toe New Z -aland team, but it will be seen no Taranaki member was chosen.
