SENIORS. TUK&PA V. STAR. GiifcAT interest centered in I Lis match on Thursday, the'cons'queuee being that (here was a very large at'endance at the racecourse, and the game throughout was watched with the keenest concern. Even the strongest supporters of Star were not prepared for such a victory as that Club secured. | That the best team won was evident, the play of the winners bting characterised by good all round work, though by no means free from blunders. Star kicked off, and play was fist, the game being taken into Tuknpa's quarters, the latter haviog all their work cut out to prevent a score. Some capital play ensued on both sides, Stars having the best of the scrums, McPike for Tukapa acd Humphries for Star I wers playing an excellent gome. Tukapa worked up to Star's quarters, and McPike obtained, a penalty goal from an easy position.
