The New Zeihnd Rugby Union's management cimmittee met'tonight, and decided to send 22 pi lyers to Australia, instead of 20 as oii finally proposed. Two alterations ware mule in the arrangement;, of the matches for New Sou'h Walep. The O.igo Union is to be asked to supply fuller psiticulars of thi case to bj sent to tto Eiglish Rugby Unioa as to whether there ia any right for one player to replace another when it jured. The Tokomiru Union (Poverty B iy) sought affiliition, bit; the application was deferred. Twenty-three silver fern leaves, for prasentetion to the repre>entatives, given by Mr Alexander inuroison were received wiih thanks. The expenses cf the Wairarapa players to pi iy ngiinst the New Zealand team ia Wellington will be allowed. .
