PER PBESS ASSOCIATION. London, June 10. C p'ain Charles Alfred Percy Gardener, deeeiibed as a native of "Victoria, was charged at Bow Street with abducting a girl Frances Lesar, aged 17. He informed the police that he had long been acquainted with the Lesats. He found tha girl aboard tha Runic when sailing from Capetown and fruitlessly tritd to persuade her to return and also to send her back from Tenerifiv. Gardener was remanded without bail.
