EARTHQUAKES.
PEB PBESB ASSOCIATION. Constantinople, May *2B. An earthquake recently destroyed the town of Mehzgbeerd, in the village of Van, in Turkish Armenia, killing 2000, including 700 Armenians and a garrison of 400 men. The nous, s in the neighbouring villages collapsed. Thera were large losses of cattle. A severe, shock was felt at Constantinople on Tuesday.
