Stott's body was found on the rail* way at Jolimont to-night terribly mangled. He evidently stood in front of an approaohiDg train, the body befog 0 irried h»lf a mile from the spot, when it was struck. Tne mau'e clothes were in a filthy condition, and apparently be had been hiding in eewere since the tragedy. The only feasible explanation of the affair is that Stott was desperate at the las of employment and financial troubles.
