The Daily Telegraph's Oape'own correspanient asserts that the chief shipment was made by a Jewish commercial agent who purchased the blankets in thj ordinary course from the Imperial authoritits. Large qaan'itias wrre burn*, but others were disinfected and said after the bulk hid been scou ed. The Daily Chronicle s'rongly accuses the War Office of negligence in connection with the sales.
