POST OFFiCE CHANGES.

Harle of tha Wellington ( ffice has b, en appain'ed chief clerk vice Mr James McKenzie retired. Mr Aulry M, Jones of tbe Aucklanl office h s been appointed chief money ordsr clerk. Mr W. J. Worthing on, of Invor.argill, has been appointed chief miilroem clerk vici Mr Bean, ju>t now ac ing postmaster at Wtitara, transferred at his own request to Stratford. Mr S. J. Johns'on, of Greymouth, fll ! s the position lately vacated by Mr France transferred to Blenheim. Mr A. H. Thomas has beea sppnuted supervi-iig telephone exchange clerk. The latter and th? chief money order dark are new appointments rendered necessary by the increase of wo k in the i Thesi additions and others wh'ch have takon place from time to timi accentuate the need of more accommodation for the largi stiff now employed.
