CONSECRATION SKRVIOB. PER PRB«3 AMOOIATION. Auckland, May 21, Dr. Neligan, Bishop elect of Auckland, was consecrated at St. Mary's Oatbeirdl to-day bafore an immense congragation. The Bishops of Duoedin, Christohurch, Nelson, and Waiapu took put, besides a large procession of clergy and officials. The Bishop was handed to his throne by Archdeacoa CWder, and declarations of allegiance were made by representatives of the clergy and laity. The new Bishop gave a powerful and brilliauc address on the words "my people," without any notes whatever. He delivered one of the most s liking and masterly pulpit orations ever heu-J in Auckland, holding the c!cs?st aV te.itioa of his hearers for nearly an hour. The Bishop has created a very deep and favourable impiession.
