ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
FEB PEEB3 ASSOCIATION, Auckland, May 14. A young man named James Gamble, a carter, was leading a horse when it took fright at an electric tram and jumped in front of the car, dragging Gamble across tbe rails. He fell under the car, and received in juries to one arm and both krees, and a scalp wound. He was taken to the hospital, where 1 the arm was amputated below the elbow. Though not out of danger, he is doing '■well. j
