AN EXTRADITION CASE.
FEB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Auckland, May 11, The Stipendary MBgis ! rate has ordered the extradition of Mrs Stevens alias Stuart charged wi'h rere'ving £SO from Duncan McPhail, of Sydney, knowing it was dishonestly obtained, and of Frank Stuart charg'd with theft and forgery for ,£lB2 with intend to defraud McPhsil. The police stated that £34 was found on tbe woman. Since her arrival it was discov red she had committed bigamy. The defalcations of male accused amounted to £I2OO. Stuart when arrested denied, but subsequently admitted his identity, also that the £llO in his possession was ptrt of the money stolen. A let'er was found on, Stuart, addreFsed to h : s parents, in which he admitted taking a thousand pounds or more of his employer's money. =====
