ATTEMPTED SUICIDE AT INGLEWOOD.
Per Press Association. Inqlewood, May 8. A man named Taylor, residing io this town, and employed on the railway, att< mpttd to cut his throat about 7 o'clock this morning. Dr Harding, who was cillcd in, sowed up and die-Bed Ihe wound, anii ha man was token »o the New Plymouth hospital by Constable Davy. The man wiil probably recover if no compile >tio> s supirvene, as little damage was done.
