The United Sta'es Consul here, Mr Dillingh im, states that for th* past twelve months he has been inundated | with applications to Berve in a mythioal Philippine contingent, rtfereno# to which had boei) m tde in a southern paper. Mr Dillingbam said "W« don't want any ointiogent, and if wa did we have m m of out own for all cor requirements, withiut going to a foreign country to get them." He gives the report an unqualified denid.
