Mr Smith considered some disappointment would ensue if the prizes were dropped without notice. Other members took the same view. J Mr Roy said that in filling the vacancy 7 on the Bjard he couriered that as the 0 Education Board had always met the 5 High School Governors in a very fair - wiy, ! hit it woull be a compliment to 15 app lin 1 ; a member of the Education 3 Board to the vacancy. He therefore ) moved that Mr HJ3t. Allsworth be ap--3 pointed. The motion was seconded by Mr Berry and supported by all the members present, Mr Smiih pointing out , the advantage of having a member of j ihe Education Board on their body, i After the Chairman bad eulogised , Mr Allsworth's services in the cause of education, the motion was carried unanimously. . Accounts amounting to £lO5 Is 2d 1 were passed for payment. Tho bjard rose.
