Tint first Cap ma'.cb at the end of the district took place at the Racecourse on Thursday between New Ply month and Carrington-road Clubs. Considering the members of the New Plymouth team were placed differently to last season, they shaped well, and the result shows that, vvi h further practice, they will ba hard to beat. Afternoon tea was dispersed by Mrs Stanley Smith and other ladies, being very acceptable to the players.
