ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
FEB PBXSB ASSOCIATION. Ashboktoh, April 29. I At th? icquest as to the sudden death of William Miller, the jury returned a veidiotof death from syncope. Napiw, April 29. Mrs Graoe Willcocks, wife of R. Willoocks, who was quite well in the morning, was suddenly attacked with fainting fi s, and was taken to tbt hospital, whe'e she died from heart failure almost beforo assistance could be rendered. An accident of a very serious nature occurred this afternoon. The Conciliation Board, engaged in hearing the wharf libourers and stevedores dispute, decided to pvy a visit to the wool ship H-trm one u> order to see the condition uader which the labourers work. Captain Tonkin, who acted, for the employee, was cicerone to the party, and, in ascandiog the vessel from the lighter, otepped on the " light screen," which gave way, preeipating him heavily to the dt-ck. He numbed a compound fracture of the lef; leg, two broken ribs, and a severe soilp wound. He waa taken to the hospital, where he is doing well.
