SPLENDID RECEPHOM AT ROME. PKB PRBSB ASSOCIATION Received 28 11.39 p.m. Roue, April 28. The King of Italy, the municipality, and the people of Rome combined to accord King Elward a sph nJid, cordial, and picturesque reception. The decorations wer,- on a magnifi cent scale, and of a most artist c kicd. [The King contributed J IO,OOO towards the coit. The military display was brilliant and imposing. The King and Royal Princes welcomed King Edward on his arrival at the station. Replying to an address of welcDme presented by Prince Colouia, Mayor cf Rome, King Edward said he was happy to render personal homage to the eternal city. After greeting Queen Helena at the Quirinal, His Maj sty visited the Queen Dowager Margherita.
