LOAN MATTERS. In Committee on Tuesday night the Oouncil appointed the Mayor and Messrs Brooking, Bellringer, and Oollt's a Committee to wait on the Harbour Baatd regarding the site fjr tbe septic tank.
The Engioeer was instructed to prepare amended pLins for abattoirs, in accordance with Mr Gilrutn's letter.

Jt was resolved that tenders be invited for the supply of 4-inch pipes required at ilu* abattoirs, and also a supply for gt-ueta! pm p. ses, one half to be delivered this year and half n-.xv year.
