THAT HANDICAPPING.
TO THE EDITOB. Sik, —In reply to " Ped," I may sta*e that Mr Kivell is thoroughly conversant with mv performances. At any meeting where Mr Kivell is handicapping mv nomination is as follows: " Performances known to the handicapper." For the information of " Ped," and all whom it may concern, I may state that I hare been running off limits or thereabouts, in half mile races, for two years, and have never won one. lam now asked to come back from 55 yards to 35 yards. If by any stretch of imagination tho above can be called handicapping, I am willing to submit that 1 do not know anything about the game. As to " making a noise," I contend I am entitled to be fairly handicapped. I hava to the present laboured under that delusioD, but I am apparently wrong. Apologising for encroaching oa your valuable space. -- I am, etc., A. Whiting.
