Handel's wotk, representing the eighteenth c ntury, was illus*rited by tho composer's imposing coionation anshom "Zidok, tbe Priest," whilvi Wesley, Stsiui-r, and Standford, with specially composed music by contemporary writers, represented the ninatemth century.
