FIB FBJBB ABSOOIATIOH. Auckland, April 6. An electric car collided with a milk waggon at Farnell. The latter was overturned, and two girls, Rebecca Scott and Erne McMorrin, were thrown from the box seat. Both were badly braised and cat. Both driven deny responsibility. Wklehtoton, April 6. This afternoon Constable Hutton telegraphed from Plimmerton particulars of a sad boating fatality, jn which it is feared that four lives have been lost. It appears that at 10 o'clock this morning Peter Lamar, a fisherman, went ont in a boat with five youths named Harry, Albert, George, and Thom*B Maoifo'd and Archibald Haigb. j At 10 30 o'clock it was seen from the' shore that the boat bad capuVd, and two of tbe occupants were noticed to be clinging to the bottom of the upturned beat. Another boat put off from the shore and rescued George and Thomae Manifold. The police have been informed that the bodies of Harry and Albert Manifold were washed up on tbe batch a* Plimmerton'at 6 p.m. The bodies of Peter Lamar and Archibald Haigh are ■till missing. The latter was a partial cripple, aged 12 years, and he had been spending a holiday at the seaside. Received 0 10.25 p.m. Sydnhy, April 6. A boat containing' four men capsized five miles off Newcastle Heads Two of them named Bundle ard Hemmit'gway were drowned, bu the others, rhough greatly f-xl-aust'd, reached <he shore after clinging to tb> boat for 14 hours.
