TO THE EDITOE. Sib, —I should like the handioapper of the Star F.C. Sports to explain through the columns of your valuable ' paper his reasons for his treatment of me in the half-mile race at their sp jrts to be held on Easter Monday. At Waverley on the 17th March I was unplaced off 55yds in the half-mile. Ai Ingiewood on the 19th I was unplaced off the 55yds mark, the winner, A. N. Mcrey, off 25yds, giving me 30yds and beating me out of sight. At Bell Biock ,_on the 2nd April I was unplaced off ~* 55yd*, handicapped nt 45yds from Morey. At tbe Star Mparts Mr Kivell . has asked me to come back 20yds and stand on the same mark as a man who has given me 30yds and b-»a ei me, making a difference. ; f 50yds, Ihe glaring injustice of this is apparent to tbe most casual observer, and my grievance is only one of many peis, in TaraBaki. Thanking you in anticipation. —I am, etc., A. Whiting
