Tha Magistrate held thit thi evidence w*s contradictory, and dis- 1 missed the cise. Samuel Brooking, licensee of the {Sumner Hotel, was mmilirly charged. The barman had failed to ask two t rave lie. sif they were bom fide. They had a drink pieviously at tbs Cave Rack Hotel. Tho Magistrate decided that insufficient ctre h>td ueea excicis d, and imposed a fine of £5 and coata, an endorsement to follow.
