The Now Plymouth Homing Club's second annual D.-rby Rica eventuated from Marton oa Thursday last, air-line distance, 100 The result was a very popular win for Mr W. Taylor's bird, covering the distance in 2 hours 39 minutes. The first prize was a set of cirvers, kindly presented by Mr B, M. Smith, M.H.R., and made from Taranaki ironsand. Result: W. Taylor's Waiwera, velocity 1105 yds Ift 7in per minute G. A. Cooney's Domld, 1101yds2ft 6in R. W. Dixon's Trix, 1098 yds 3 n W. H. Pipp's Wild Vix-n, 1092 yds Ift 4in C. Wcodham's General, 1058 yds 3in.
