ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Ohristchurch, March 28. Benjamin Jeffs, 77 years of age,-fell off a ladder while repairing the roof of a house, and died at thj hospital. At the inquest a verdict; was returned of death through concussion of tha brain. Napier, March 28.
At the inqu s"; on who died as a result of a blasting acoident at Waipuna, 'he jury returned a verdict of accidental death, with no blame attachable to anyooe, all necessary pre-au'iins having hoan taken.
