MOLLE ANTONIA DOLORES.

The Sydney Daily Telegraph, in an aiticle headed " A Wildly Enthusiastic Welcome," thus refers to v Mdlle. Dolores' season in that city:—" Mdlle. Antonia Dolores made her reappearance at the Town Hall on Saturday evening, at the first of her three farewell recitals. The distinguished vocalist elected to challenge an inevitable comparison between herself and Mme Melba by singing on the same platform within 48 hours after the last appsarpearance of Mme. Melba—a proceeding which would have " played ducks and drakes " with the reputation of any but a great artiste. The public flocked in crowds to embrace a last opportunity of hearing her prior to her departure for Europe. The audience was surprisingly large, and the people who assembled to do her honour gave the delightful singer a cordial and, at times', a wildly enthusiastic reception, of which she may well be proud. Increasing enthusiasm was manifested after each of ber contributions and the climax was reached after ber last item, when people rose to their feet, and a forest of hats was waving all over the house. On leaving the hall the popular singer was made the object of a demonstration only second to that which had previously taken place within the Town Hall. Mdlle. Dolores unquestionably achieved a triumphant success." The recital here on Tuesday next is sure to bo liberally patronisad, and this will br* the last opportunity of hearing Mademoiselle, as she leaves next monih for America.
