ST. JOSEPH'S CHOIR SOCIAL.

The social held at the Theatre Royal on Tuesday evening in aid ef the funds of St. Joseph's (Catholic) Choir was in every way a complete success. Tin attendance was large, and the arrangements bad been so minutely attended to that the enjoyment of those present was thoroughly secure.l, espstially as the music was exceptionally good, as is always the casa with Mr Bain's orchestra, consisting in this case of Miw Dison, pianis% Mr Donovan, cornet, and Mr Tuscbska, violinist. The fl.O's, Messrs T. Scully, W. Way and J. Bennett, most ably pei formed their dutirs, and with the Secretary, Mr E. M. Carthsw, (succeeded materiil'y in furthering the success of the gathering. A capital supper was provided by the ladies and altogether the social was voted the most successful one held at the Theatre Royal.
