(d) Fixing charges for water supply and on worts in connection therewith, and the licensing of plumbers; (e) The licensing of carnages, car s, aDd drivers, and fixing charges, and as ta oftnees by drivara and penalties therefor; (f.) Toe licens-ing of pedlars and tuwkers and fixing fees ; (g.) The licensing of porters, orders, and bellringers, and fixing fees and ohargts; (h.) The licensing of lodginghouses and duties of lodginghouse keepers and penalties for neglect; (i.) Fixing oharges for pnblio baths and regulating hours of admittance find penalties. ■ (]■) As to the sanitary oondition a'd ! public health of ihe borough and the licensing of drain connections, and fixing charges for diains and penalties, and as to material to be used in making dr-ius, traps, sints, etc , and as to dosets and removal of mbbish, et: , from hou es, and as to the use of jtabies and the keeping of poultry ; (k.) To provide for tho abatement of nuisances; (1.) In respect of prevention of fire; (m.) In respect of the use ot buildings for public meetings, etc.; (n ) As to offences on public reserves; (o.) As to interments in Te Henui cemetery and generally; (p.) To regulate the prooeedure at meetings of the Council; (q) And ta impose penalties for the breach of any by-law.
