The New Yjrk press onsider Argentina's request that the United States join in a declaration that European creditors must noo forcibly collect public debts amounts to a rrcjgnitiou of Monroeism as a principle of American law. It is expacted that other Republics will folio* suit in opening a new era of commercial and political relations with the United States and Sister Na'.ions of the south.
