Definition of a hack.—A Hack is a horse that baa not won, at the time of nomination, a race of the value of LBO, or races of the collective value of IflOO, since the Ist of August, 1899. 2. The winner of any flat race, after the declaration of weights, to carry a penalty of 71bs, and of every additional race 61bs extra in all handicap flat events. 3. Entries by telegram must give full particulars of the horse, and must be confirmed in writing at the earliest possible opportunity. 4. Owners, trainers, and others entering and accepting bones for this meeting are notified that no entries or acceptances will be received unless accompanied by the necessary amount in cash. 5. No entry will be received for any taoe except on this condition: That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards, and their decision shall be final. 6. The Stewards reserve the right to altar the time or date for declaration of weight*, nominations, or acceptances. 7. The Handicappur may, if be thinks fit, re-handicap any horso winning a race aftur the declaration of weights. All races to be run under " The Mew Zealand Kules of Racing." Stakes paid in full.
