Tub annual Taranaki Eogatta, which talc-s place at Waitara to-day, is likely 'o provo more popular and' interesting I that over and this is saying a good deal. All that is wanted is fine weather and i-, is to ba hoped that this will hi s?cuved. Special trains have New Plymouth at 9.15 and 11,30 at excursion fartSj and a special return train wi!l leave Waitara at 6.5 p.m. No" only are the arrangements in connection with the numerous events very complete, but the comfort of visi'ors has received special attention. Under these circumstances it is anticipated tint the district will be well represented at the regatta and that those piesent will have an erij >yable time.
