The 25th anniversary of the Pope's enthronement was celebrated to-day. ecclesiastics from all parts of the world being present. Seventy thousind people took part in the service at the Basilica. The Pope was in go>d health, but pile, and his voice was marked with hoarseness. He intoned the "Te Deum." Peals of b=dls were rung from 493 churches in Rome. Cardinal Gibbons, oa behalf of the Ameiican Hierarchy of clergy and laity, sent a Mircoai message from Caps Cod to Poldhu in Cornwall, for transmission to Rome, conveying con-1 gra' illations ti the Pope.
