RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. Definition of a hack.—A Hack if a horso that has not won, at the time of nomination, a ruse of the value of LBO, or ruiMs of the collective value of L2OO, since the Ist of August, 1899. 2. The winner of any flat race, after tha declaration of weights, to carry a penalty of 71bs, and of every additional race filbt extra In all handicap flat events. 3. Entries by telegram must give full particulars of the horse, and must be eon* firmed in writing at the earliest possible opportunity. 4. Owners, trainers, and others entering and accepting horses for this meeting are notified that no entries or acceptances will be received unless accompanied by the noceasary amount in cash. 5. No entry will be received for any race except on this condition: That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards, and their decision shall be final. 6. The Stewards reserve the right to alter the time or date for declaration of weighty nominations, or acceptances. 7. The Handicapper may, if he thinks fit, re-handicap any horse winning a race uflor the declaration of weights. All races to be run under" The Mew Zealand llules of Racing."
