NOTIOE is h 'roby riven that a Special Meeting of the New Plymouth Borough Council will be h >ld at the Council Chambers, Kin'?-street, Now Plymouth, on the ■23 rd day of Match, 1903, at 7.30 p.m , for | the purpose of confirming a resolution passed | by the Council on the 16th ray of Fehrua'y, 1003, ordaining and making by-laws for the Borough of New Plymouth, to come into operation and force on tho 31st day of March, 1903; and also that the object and purport of such by-laws is (a) lo repeal all by-laws heretofore in fo'ce In the Borough, excepting the " Building By-Hws, 1902"; (b) To provide for tho good rule and government of the borough; (c) To provide what are offences on streets, and the naming of streets and the [ numbering of houses; (d) Fixing charges for water supply and on works in connection therewith, and the licensing of plumbers; (e) The licensing of carriages, carts, and drivers, and fixing charges, and as to offences by drivers and penalties therefor; (f.)
