METHODIST CONFERENCE.
PEU PRESS ASSOCIATION. Chrmtchurch, Fobiuary 28. The Methodist Conference's ministerial session opened this morning. The Rap. W. Slade, of F>ji, was received into tho New Zeahnd Conference. The Revs. W. Wills and R. Kenal, having passed their examinations, will be received into full connexion for ordination. W. W. Avery, P. R. Faris, A. J. Sesmer, and R. If. Wylie were accepted as caneidates for the ministry. The eecond reading of stations will be considered on Tuesday.
