MK ORD HUME'd VIEWS. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Adelaide, Febtuary 20. Mr Qrd Hume, in a speech, said both Australia and New Z island were far in advance of whit he anticipated. There were three btnds in Australia worthy to cake a foremost place amongst the leading batidi in and the New Z?.*hnd bands Were even slightly better. Mr Hume recommended regular contests between Australia and New Zealand to improve baud music, and advis d Australia to send a crack band to England nex- mon'h, and fjllow Ihe example of New Z aland.
