Definition of a hack.—A Hack is • horse that has not won, at the lime of lamination, a race of the value of 1,80, or races of the collective value of L2OO, since the Ist of August, Jfj'.W. 2. The winner of any flat race, after tilt declaration of weights, to carry a penalty of 7lbs, and of every additional nee albs extra in all handicap flat events. 3. Entries by telegram must give fall particulars' of the horse, and must be eon* firmed in writing at the earliest possible opportunity. 4. Owners, trainers, and others entering and accepting horses for this meeting are notified that no entries or acceptances will bo received unless accompanied by the necessary amount in cash. 5. No entry will be received for any race except on this condition: That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of Um racing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards, atul their decision shall be final. C. The Stewards reserve the right to alter the time or date for declaration of weight*, nominations, or acceptances. 7.
