Thus, duties on M-incbester pieo* giods, whioh are imported to the value of two millions sterling, have been inoraa.«>d by 4 per pent., and those on ludhu tei, whioh is aim -at a monopoly, by 95 per cent, duties. Persian exports to Britain are largely augmented.
