LABOUR TROUBLES.
WELLINGTON CARPENTERS DISS VII ; FIED. PER PBESS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, February 19. At a mass meeting of carpenters and joiners held last evening, it was decided to ask for an increise from Is 4d to la 6d per hour. The Arbitration Court fixfld the minimum at Is 4d, but the me a are dissatisfied. There w«s somi talk of the men laying down their tco's and boycotting employers, but t-vantui'ly it was decided as above.
