LOCAL OPTION PETITIONS.
FSB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Dunedin, February 18. The adjaurnsd heaving of the pe'ition for inquiry into the local op:icn poll in the Weikeuaiti electorate was called before Major Keddell, S.M., today at Palmerston South, Mr Biiley, who appeared for the petitioners, intimated that it was not prop sed to call evidence, and the petition was accordingly dismissed.
