Egmont Cup: Motor 1, Anoborite 2, Tradewind 3. Scratched: Fleka and Belle Cole. Halberdier went to J;he front with Motor and Gilnockie, Bit tleaxe aod Rita lying last. At the mile post Motor was running at the head of affaire, seemingly with a bit in band. Battleaxe nude an effort but could not head the leader, and dropped biek.
