PER PSESB ASSOCIATION. Received 17, 10.40 p.m Cape Town, February 17. Mr Chamberlain, speaking at Beaufort West, emphasized the imponance of De Waal's assurances of Dutch cooperation in tha Union.
said that if he could ha did not wish ta be rid of the Dutch, as he warmly admired their tenacity and resolution.
He hoped the British would unreservedly co-operate with the Dutch for thsir common good.
