RULES AND REGULATIONS. 1. Definition of a hack.—A Hack is a horse that has not won, at the time of nomination, a race of the value of LBO, or races of the collective value of L2OO, since the Ist of August, 1899. 2. The winner of any flat race, after the declaration of weights, to carry a penalty of 71bs, and of every additional race 51bs extra ' in all handicap flat events. 3. Entries by telegram must give full ticulars of the horse, and must be conurined in writing at the earliest possible opportunity. 4. Owners, trainers, and others entering nd accepting horses for this meeting are ; notified that no entries or acceptances will jbe received unless accompanied by the necessary amount in cash. ! 5. No entry will be received for any race except on this condition: That all disputes, "'aims, and objections arising out of the .„cing shall be decided by a majority of the Stewards, and their decision shall be final. 6. The Stewards reserve the right to alter the time or date for declaration of weights, nominations, or acceptances. ! 7.
