BOWLING.
WEIGHT OF BOWLS. FIB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Dunedih, February 12. A special meeting of delegates of the New Zealand Bowling Association was held on Wednesday, when new rales were adopted providing—(l) That the howls to be used in ma'ches under the auspices of the Association shall not exceed 3§lbs, and most have been made by a recognised maker; and (2) that the nse of bowls tint have been tampered with by weighting be prohibited in all matches. The secretary w»i instructed to communicate with the Scottish Bowling Association regarding the standard bowl, on account of a disagreement among members.
