LIBERAL DEMONSTRATION.

Alt, the arrangements for the Liberal demonstration, to be held on Friday, are now well in h.uid. Mr Watts, of the Imperial Hotel, who h«s the catering, has made capital arrangements fot Beating tin guests in the drill Hall, and judging by tha reports from those who have the disposal of tickets, the ■eating accommodation will be very fully taxed. The Right Hon. R. J. Seddoo, Mrs and Miss Seddoo, with the rest of the Ministerial party, are •zpec ed to arrive in New Plymouth to-day by the 11 o'clock train, and are expected-to attend the races during the afternoon. Oa Friday the drive to Waitara will take place, and the Waitara friends are arranging ta give the party a very hearty welcome and an enjoyable time. On Saturday Mr Standish is inviting the Ministerial party to a trip to Mount Egmont. Mr and Miss Ssddon will go, but Mrs Saddon'q health will not permit of her nndtrtakisg tha j jurny. Mr Standish is to be congratulated on arranging for the mountain trip, as it will go a long way to bripg the mountain into notice, •specially as in the absence of Sir Joseph Ward, Mr Donne, chief of the Tourig, Department, will be of the P&rty-
