At a provincial conference at branches of the Farmers TJoion to-day it w<ts decided that the executive take steps ta have the law altered to prevent unfair *' trottiug " by auctioneers; alio that auctioneers' license fees should ft to Oouuty Council?. A motion expressing strocg disapproval of the Department's eondi'ions for the use of country telephone* was passed; and it was reoommended to branches to make the subscription of members 10s per annual.
