SHIPPING CASUALTIES.
TH<5 AOTEi INQUIRY. Per Press Association. Wellington, February 8. A Magisterial inquiry was commenced to-dny concerning the ground" ing of the new Pa tea trader Aotea on the Eagle reef, ofl' the coast of Queensland on November 25th, whilst on liar from London to Wellington. 'The vessel was damaged to the extent of £460 by impact with racks, The 'mishap occurred at about dusk. There were no breakers to indicate the pretsence of a reef. The vessel came off at high tide.
