The King is making splendid progrrss. Sir Francis Laking, physician in ordinary to the Kirg, report* that tke period in which any complication was likely, h*s alieady passed, and that he anticipates an early convaletcenoe. The Lancet, a medical journal, ie authorised to state that the King fer a week pabt has not been feding in bit usual health, and complained on Friday that he was more sensitive to oold than usual. The attack of influenza was slight and the King was not confined to hia bed, but only to his room. The King and Queen's thoughtful message, expressing their regret* to the authorities and people of Derbyshite at being unable to pay a visit to Ohatsworth, is warmly appreciated.
