All races to start punctually at advertised lime, Any boat not at the starting point at Hie proper time shall be liable to disqualification for that event. Protests must be in the hands of the Secretary in writing within 16 minutes after the race. Each protest must be accompanied by a deposit of 10s, whioh sum may be forfeited if the protest is not upheld by the Committee. Entrance fee 10 per cent of the amount of first prize money offered for each event, pames, weights of competitors (inoluding hubjtitutes), and colours to be worn, must be lodged at the time of entry. All post entries (to close on Regatta Day ftt 12 noon) will bo charged 6 per cent, on amount of first prize. . Bookmakers will not be allowed to bet inside the enclosure. The Committee reserve to themselves the fight to alter the order or postpone any or '1 of the events, and add any regulations Mch in their opinion may be necessary.
